Mouse Tester

Test your mouse right from Stream Deck. Mouse Tester turns your keys into live counters, gauges and charts for every mouse button, the scroll wheel, click speed and click interval. It also flags suspected double-click switch faults, so you can check a new or old mouse in seconds without opening a browser tab.

What you get:

Total, Left, Middle, Right: count every click per button

Side Back and Side Forward: count the extra side buttons

Scroll Up and Scroll Down: count wheel steps

Clicks per second: a live CPS reading, plus a live CPS chart with your peak

Interval: milliseconds between two clicks of the same button, colored green (over 80 ms), amber (50-80 ms) or red (under 50 ms), plus a live interval bar chart

Double-click faults: counts repeats under 50 ms, a common sign of a worn switch

Mouse: shows the mouse you are testing, with a name you can type in yourself

Each key has its own color and a small mouse icon that highlights the button being counted

Ready-made profile: a 15-key profile named "Mouse Tester" is included, with every action already placed on the keys. You can also drag any single action onto your own layout.

How to use:

Install the plugin. On a Stream Deck with 15 keys, pick the "Mouse Tester" profile, or drag the actions from the "Mouse Tester" list onto your keys.

Click and scroll with the mouse you want to test. Counters update instantly.

Optional: select the Mouse key and type your mouse name, for example "SABRE v3 PRO". Windows often reports only the name of a wireless receiver, so the typed name is shown on the key.

Hold any Mouse Tester key for 1.5 seconds to reset all counters and charts.

Requirements: Windows 10 or later and Stream Deck 7.1 or later. No account, API key or extra app is needed. The Mouse key settings panel loads its interface from the internet, so it needs a connection while you edit the name.

Privacy: the plugin listens to mouse button and wheel events system-wide, only to count them. It does not record cursor position or keystrokes, and nothing is stored or sent anywhere. Counters reset when Stream Deck restarts.
