Redline Deck
by TeaTime
Overview
Forza Horizon 6 on your Stream Deck, live from the game's own telemetry.
Redline Deck reads Data Out, the telemetry Forza Horizon 6 sends for dashboards and motion rigs. Turn it on in the game and drive: your keys come alive with the car's speed, gear, revs, tires and race. No mod, nothing to install in the game.
The keys
Shift Light: the gear, big, under ten lights that fill green, yellow and red as the revs climb and flash at the shift point you choose.
Big Gauge: a rev counter, speedometer or boost gauge drawn across a block of keys as one picture, with the red zone, shift point, top speed or peak boost; or the traction view: the car from above, each tire coloured by the grip it uses with wheelspin and lockup marked, a traction circle with a fading trail and the drift angle.
Readouts: speed, revs, boost, power, torque, fuel, position, lap times, race time, distance, top speed, peak G, class and PI, drivetrain, engine, rev limit, idle, shift point, drift angle and this run's peaks, in your units.
Gauges: revs, speed, boost, fuel, throttle and brake as bars, one key or stretched across a row.
Tires: temperature, grip and suspension for all four wheels or one, coloured as they warm up, slide or bottom out.
G-Force in a ring with this run's peak, and Inputs: your pedals and steering.
Commands: rewind, photo mode, horn, camera, map, handbrake, gears, telemetry screens, radio and more, each pressing the key from your control preset.
The dials
On a Stream Deck + or a Corsair Galleon 100 SD every page fills all four dials: gauges, tires, G-force and the shift light, and command dials for gears, radio, telemetry screens and camera.
Layouts for every deck
The Redline Deck key, on any profile, opens a ready-made layout with Dash, Race, Tires, Garage, Controls, Big RPM, Big Speed, Big Boost, Big Traction and Engine pages, for the Stream Deck, XL, +, Mini, Neo and Galleon 100 SD. With Follow on it turns to the Race page when a race starts, to the Garage page when you pause or a race ends, and back to the Dash page when you drive.
English, French and Spanish
Every key, dial screen, page name and setting reads in English, French or Spanish, in the game's own words. The Language setting follows Stream Deck's language, or pick one.
Works with your other apps
The game sends to one port only, so Redline Deck can pass every packet on, unchanged, to up to four other ports for SimHub, your wheel software or a motion rig. It also writes a dashboard file for an iCUE widget on a XENEON EDGE.
Setup
In Forza Horizon 6 open Settings, then HUD and Gameplay.
Set Data Out to On, Data Out IP Address to 127.0.0.1 and Data Out IP Port to 5605 (any port except 5200 to 5300, which the game uses).
Drive. Any Redline Deck key's settings show the connection.
Keys go to the game only while Forza Horizon 6 is the window in front. Without the game the keys say what is missing: game not running, turn on Data Out, or paused.
Good to know
Windows only, Stream Deck 7.1 or later.
With a Custom control preset you pick each command's key in its settings: the game keeps custom bindings inside its save.
Nothing you drive leaves your PC unless you forward it yourself.
Unofficial: Redline Deck is not affiliated with or endorsed by Playground Games, Microsoft or Xbox Game Studios. Forza Horizon is a trademark of Microsoft.
