The Bus Telemetry Interface

This plugin connects your Elgato Stream Deck to The Bus by TML-Studios. Using the game's telemetry interface, you can control in-game functions and see live information from your bus on your keys and dials.

Connecting to the Game

Enable the Telemetry setting in the game and restart the game.

Open the Stream Deck software, create your layout and add one of the plugin actions.

Enter the connection settings in any action. They apply to all actions of the plugin:

Game IP (default: 127.0.0.1)

Game Port (default: 37337)

If the game runs on a different computer than the Stream Deck software, set the Game IP to the IP address of that computer.

Universal Button: controls almost any button in the bus. Set a fixed state, cycle through the states, or hold the key to keep a state only while pressed. Also works on Stream Deck + dials.

Status Light: lights up when any lamp or telemetry value in the bus is on

Gauge: shows speed, RPM, fuel, engine temperature or a value of your choice as a gauge on a key or a Stream Deck + dial, with a warning color when needed

Change Money: hand out coins or take cash with one key press

Connection Status: shows whether the plugin is connected to the game and whether you are in a bus

Custom actions: send any game event and show telemetry values on a key

Your own key images for on and off states

The plugin only requests data from the game while one of its keys is visible

Updating from an earlier version

Door, gear, indicator, fixing brake and universal keys now have an on and an off image. Keys you placed with an earlier version keep a single image. Remove those keys and add them again to get both states.
