Trello Tasks Faster

Toolkit for Trello is a Stream Deck plugin for Trello users who want to run focused workflows without leaving their current app. Configure a keypad key, authorize Trello, choose the relevant destinations, and trigger the workflow with one press. It requires Stream Deck software, a Trello account, network access, and permission to use the selected boards and lists.

Features

Create Card: create one card in a configured Trello list with a title and optional description.

Create Card from Clipboard: copy selected text from the active app and create a card in one press, using the text as the card name or as the description under a fixed title.

Open Trello Destination: load boards through the Trello API, then open a board or browse Board → List → Card and open the selected card.

Configure destinations through the property inspector instead of copying Trello URLs manually.

Receive clear ready, loading, success, unauthorized, and error feedback.

Authorization and privacy

Toolkit for Trello uses a Magoo Media Trello app key; users do not need to create or enter an API key.

Each user authorizes their own Trello account in the browser.

The user token stays in Stream Deck on the user's computer and requests go directly to Trello.

Work or Enterprise accounts may require administrator approval for third-party integrations.

Trello is a visual work-management service built around boards, lists, and cards. Toolkit for Trello connects to Trello's REST API from Stream Deck and does not require its desktop app.

Release focus

Replaced customer-entered API-key setup with the Magoo Media Trello app key embedded at build time.

Kept Trello authorization user-specific: each customer authorizes their own Trello account and the resulting token remains local to Stream Deck.

Added explicit UI guardrails explaining that users should never create, enter, or send an API key or Trello token to Magoo Media.

Added workplace-account guidance for Trello and Enterprise administrator restrictions.

Updated the bundled quick-start guide, troubleshooting FAQ, README, and privacy notice.

Uses Trello's supported 30days authorization expiration rather than an indefinite token.

Production release requirement

Build only with the production Magoo Media app key after its Trello Auth configuration has been verified. The build now fails when MAGOO_MEDIA_TRELLO_API_KEY is not supplied, preventing an unconfigured package from being produced.
