Wargame Companion

Wargame Companion turns your Stream Deck into a game assistant for physical wargames and board games. It runs the turn and phase sequence, rolls your combat results tables and dice pools, keeps counters and the player clock, and logs every result.

Requirements: Stream Deck app 7.1 or later, Windows 10 or macOS 12 or later. An example game is included.

- Dice key: choose how results are shown, as a total (2d6 → 7) or die by die (3 and 4). A modifier is shown on its own line, and the game log lists every die.

Improved

- Sturdier handling of game files, key settings and saved games: invalid or oversized files are refused with a clear message, and an unexpected error no longer stops the plugin.

- Game editor: stricter checks on game IDs (IDs that differ only by upper/lower case, reserved names).

Changed

- Bundled games: the classic wargame example, in English and French.

Fixed

- Random table key: long results no longer overlap the roll detail.

- Game editor: the English subtitle, and a stray "null" text that appeared in some forms.
