Browser Profile Launchpad

Overview

Launch Sites In Context

Browser Profile Launchpad is a Stream Deck plugin for people who keep work, personal, client, or project browsing in separate Google Chrome profiles. The Website Launcher action opens a configured URL from one Stream Deck Keypad key, using the operating system's default browser or a selected Chrome Stable profile. Optionally request Incognito mode for Chrome when you need a private browsing window.

Set up a key once, enter a website such as docs.google.com or a complete https:// URL, choose the browser path, and press the key whenever you need that destination. Domain-style entries are normalized to https://. Default-browser launching works without a Chrome profile; Chrome profile and Incognito options require Google Chrome Stable with the selected profile available locally.

Browser Profile Launchpad is designed for Stream Deck Keypad controllers on macOS 12 or later and Windows 10 or later with Stream Deck software 7.1 or later. The plugin runs locally: no plugin account, subscription, browser extension, cloud service, OAuth flow, or telemetry is required. Only the launched website may require network access.

Features

Launch a saved website with one key press.

Use the operating system's default browser for a simple, browser-agnostic URL workflow.

Choose a locally discovered Google Chrome Stable profile for profile-specific destinations.

Optionally request Chrome Incognito mode.

Keep URL, browser, profile, and private-mode settings independent for each placed action.

Save settings immediately as you configure the action; no separate Save button is required.

Normalize domain-like entries to https:// and reject unsupported URL schemes.

Detect unavailable Chrome profiles before launch so a removed profile does not silently receive the request.

Use one ready key image and Stream Deck alert feedback when the URL, browser, or selected profile needs attention.

The plugin reports when a local launch request is accepted; it does not verify that the website finished loading, that a window received focus, or that Chrome ultimately opened Incognito. Chrome may reuse an existing browser process, and browser or enterprise policy can affect window behavior. If Chrome profile features are unavailable, use the default-browser path or create and select a supported local Chrome profile.
