colada.scripts Player

Control a live show in colada.scripts straight from your Stream Deck. The plugin puts the player's show controls on physical keys, so the show caller or director keeps their eyes on the stage: start or pause the show, step through the cues, stop, and send announcements to the crew without switching windows.

Included actions:

Play / Pause: start, pause or resume the running show

Next cue: advance the rundown to the next cue

Previous cue: go back one cue

Stop: end the show

Announcement: send a message to selected crew roles (Audio, Light, Video, Stage, Catering) — a preconfigured template or custom text, optionally marked urgent or displayed until dismissed

How it works: each key press sends a command to your event's player session. An open player page of an editor or director executes it with the regular show logic, so timers, schedule delays and announcement targeting behave exactly as if you had clicked in the player itself. If no such page is open, commands expire instead of firing later — nothing unexpected happens when the show isn't running.

Setup takes one paste: in the colada.scripts backoffice, open your event's Player Settings and copy the connection code onto any key. All keys of the same event share it.

Requires a colada.scripts account (colada365.com), an open player session for the event, and the Stream Deck app 6.9 or newer.
