Countdown Alarm & Stopwatch

Overview

For cooking, tea, meetings, study and workouts: a countdown timer with an alarm, and a stopwatch, on Stream Deck keys for Windows. It keeps the right time through PC sleep, page changes and Stream Deck restarts. At zero it rings, shows a Windows notification and counts the overtime, like +15:00, until you press it.

Use it as a kitchen timer, a break or meeting reminder, or a stopwatch for a task. On Stream Deck +, turn the dial to set the minutes and press it to start. If time ran out while the PC slept, it gives the alarm you set one time when you are back (it does not repeat it later) and says how long ago. Press a key to start, press again to pause, hold it to reset.

Features

Countdown: ready-made times from 1 minute to 2 hours, or your own up to 23:59:59

Every second is shown on the key, with a ring that runs down and turns amber in the last minute

A label on the key, such as Tea, Pasta or Meeting

A press can pause, or add 1 to 60 minutes while it runs

Rings until you press the key, or a set number of times (1 to 99)

Built-in sounds or your own WAV file, a volume for each key, and a Test sound button

Windows notification when time is up (you can switch it off)

Back from sleep after the end: it gives the alarm you set one time, the notification says how long ago it ended, and the key shows the time since

A ring from a key on another page stops with a press on any timer key

Stopwatch: press to start or stop, hold to go back to 0; it keeps counting over sleep and restarts

Stream Deck +: turn the dial to change the time 1 minute at a time, press to start or pause, hold to reset

Settings in English and Japanese; unusable numbers are marked in red and the timer waits until they are fixed

Limitations

Windows only: Windows 10 or later with Windows PowerShell (part of Windows), Stream Deck app 6.9 or later

Notifications show Windows PowerShell as the sender

"Until pressed" rings for 30 minutes at most

If the PC clock is moved forward by hand, the timer counts it as time passed. A clock set back while Stream Deck is closed can make a timer up to 30 seconds off

Not for Multi Actions

The time shows on the keys and the Stream Deck + screen, not in a window on the PC screen

Your own WAV file must be on a drive letter such as C: (a network drive you mapped to a letter works); a network path that starts with two backslashes is not opened

If notifications for Windows PowerShell are turned off in Windows, the settings page says so. Do not disturb (Focus) can hide them without a message

A timer whose key is deleted while it runs still rings at its end; a press on any timer key stops it

Privacy

Runs on your PC. Nothing is sent anywhere.
