Frame Doctor
by Raylight
Overview
Frame Doctor watches your frame rate while you play. When it drops well below your normal level, it records the moment along with your CPU and GPU temperatures and load. After the session it tells you the likely cause: a GPU running hot, a CPU running hot, a graphics card at its limit, a processor holding the GPU back, or the game itself.
Each dip gets a time, the drop in FPS, and the sensor readings behind the verdict, so you can see why it reached that conclusion. It always says "likely": sensors show what happened at the same time, not proof.
Features
Finds dips against your own recent frame rate, not a fixed number
Names the likely cause of each dip and gives one plain suggestion
A frame-rate graph of the session with every dip marked
Keeps your last 20 sessions on your PC
Three sensitivity levels in settings
Ignores desktop apps, browsers and launchers
Requires Windows, iCUE 5.47 or later and a CORSAIR XENEON EDGE. Uses iCUE's own FPS and sensor data: a game must be one iCUE reports a frame rate for, and causes that need a CPU or GPU reading only appear if iCUE can read that sensor on your PC.
