Live Commute

Live Commute shows your current estimated drive time between two saved locations, updated live with real traffic conditions. Before leaving for work or heading home, you always know exactly how long the drive will take.

How It Works The widget uses the Google Routes API to calculate live driving duration between your origin and destination, factoring in current traffic. The estimate updates automatically throughout the day.

Getting Started

Create or sign in to a Google account and go to cloud.google.com/free to set up a free Google Cloud project

In your project, open the API Library, search for "Routes API", and enable it

Go to Credentials, create an API key, and restrict it to the Routes API

Open widget settings in iCUE

Enter your API key, origin address, and destination address

Notes

Google Maps Platform may require billing to be enabled in your Google Cloud project. Google provides a monthly free credit that covers typical widget usage.
