Monitor Brightness for Windows
by GRAMSHIFT
Overview
Monitor brightness and color warmth that change automatically at sunrise and sunset, and come back to your values after the PC wakes up from sleep. Set day and night once: the plugin follows the sun in your city (or times you choose), changes slowly, and the Auto key shows the next change, such as 18:42 -> 30%. Warmer colors after sunset work like a night light that follows the sun.
Features
Changes the monitor's own brightness and contrast over DDC/CI, as its buttons do
Sunrise and sunset for 220+ cities or your own coordinates, worked out on your PC, or fixed times, with a slow fade
A change by hand pauses the schedule until its next change (MANUAL until 18:42). Auto key: back now
After sleep, or when a monitor is plugged in again, each monitor gets its last value back. Your monitor buttons still work
One monitor or all, each in its own range. Set, step or switch values. Brightness or contrast
Stream Deck + dial: turn for brightness, push for auto or manual
Warmth 6500K to 2700K, Scenes, monitor names
Four looks: Classic, Ring, Solid, Sky. English and Japanese
Your colors come back
When you switch warmth off, stop Auto or close Stream Deck. If the plugin stops unexpectedly, a small helper puts them back, and the next start checks again.
Privacy
Works on your PC only. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Requirements
Windows 11 (Windows 10 not tested), Stream Deck 6.9 or later
External monitors with DDC/CI turned on. Laptop screens are not supported
Windows limits how warm a display can get, and may refuse color changes while HDR is on
