Overview
OBSIDIAN — Voice Cleaning Engine
Clicks. Pops. Sibilance. Breath noise. Gone.
OBSIDIAN is a four-stage voice restoration engine that automatically removes the artifacts that make raw microphone audio sound unpolished, without touching the voice underneath.
One plugin. Every imperfection handled.
De-Click — Mouth click removal.
Every microphone picks them up. The subtle lip smacks and tongue clicks that sit just below conscious hearing until someone points them out. OBSIDIAN detects them in the high-frequency band before they hit the output and surgically removes the snap — preserving the voice body underneath.
De-Pop — Plosive (P, B) removal.
Hard consonants create a low-frequency burst of air that no microphone can ignore. OBSIDIAN watches the sub-100Hz band for sudden energy spikes and applies a dynamic low-shelf cut only during the exact millisecond of the plosive — leaving the voice body completely intact.
De-Ess — Sibilance removal.
Harsh S and SH sounds from certain voices and certain microphones are a broadcast problem. OBSIDIAN locks onto the exact frequency where your sibilance peaks and applies a dynamic notch — surgical, phase-coherent, and only active when it needs to be.
Breath — Breath noise suppression.
The quiet inhale between sentences. The mouth noise at the end of a take. OBSIDIAN identifies broadband breath sounds by their noise-like character and gates them gently — without ever touching the consonants around them.
LEARN — One button. Fully calibrated.
Hold the LEARN button and read aloud for ten seconds. OBSIDIAN profiles your voice, measures your noise floor, finds your sibilance peak, and sets every parameter automatically. Start clean from the first take.
The real-time spectrum display shows your raw input and processed output simultaneously — so you can see exactly what is being removed and confirm the voice is left intact.
Clean the voice. Keep the performance.
