Everything In Your Vault

Today: Today's daily note, with its date, its tasks to tick and how many are done. Tap the date to open it in Obsidian, or start it from your own template if it isn't there yet.

Tasks: Every open task in your vault, a folder, a tag or one note, with due dates and priorities as the Tasks plugin writes them (and Dataview's due::). Show what's overdue, due today or this week. Tap the box to tick one off.

Quick Capture: Add a task, a bullet or a line to today's note or to an inbox note, under the heading you choose, and keep quick lines one tap away.

Pinned And Recent: Your Obsidian bookmarks and the notes you edited last. Tap one to open it in Obsidian.

Note Preview: Any note, rendered: headings, lists, tasks, quotes and callouts, scrolling inside the tile.

Stats: Notes, words, your writing streak and open tasks, with a calendar of the days you wrote, a year at a glance.

Tags: Your tags and how many notes carry each. Tap one to search for it in Obsidian.

Four Designs That Fit Any Tile

Paper, Cards, Focus and Strip: A clean page, a grid of cards, one big thing with the rest beside it, or a strip where your tasks run along the Edge.

Every Size: From the smallest tile to the whole Edge, horizontal or vertical. Long lists scroll inside the tile.

Yours To Adjust: Text size, spacing, which parts show, how dates read, what a tap does, and your own colours.

One Widget, Several Jobs

Widget Types: Add Obsidian Connect more than once and give each copy a job in iCUE's widget settings: today's note on one, tasks on another, your streak on a third.

Your Notes Stay Yours

Only The Line You Touch: Ticking a task or capturing a line changes that one line and nothing else in the note. If the note changed since the widget read it, nothing is written.

On Your PC: Your notes never leave your computer.

Requires Qaem Hub (Free Companion App)

Qaem Hub: Obsidian Connect needs Qaem Hub, QaemDev's free companion app for Windows: qaemdev.com/products/qaem-hub. Its Obsidian Connect module reads your vault, and only widgets you allow can use it.

Just This Module: Rather not install Qaem Hub? Get the Obsidian Connect Module, a small app with only this module inside: qaemdev.com/downloads/obsidian-connect-module-setup.exe. Qaem Hub takes it over, settings kept, if you install it later.

Looks After Itself: Qaem Hub runs quietly in the tray, starts with Windows and keeps itself up to date.

Requirements

CORSAIR iCUE 5.45 or newer with a XENEON EDGE, on Windows.

Obsidian, with a vault opened at least once on this PC.

Notes

Daily notes follow your vault's own settings: the same folder, date format and template Obsidian uses.

On iCUE 5.51 and newer, allow the widget to reach 127.0.0.1 in iCUE Settings, Widget Access, if iCUE asks.
