Redline Dashboard

Overview

Redline Dashboard is a live race dash for Forza Horizon 6 on the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE: the gear, shift lights, speed, revs and tires beside your main screen, ten times a second while you drive.

The pages

Dash: the gear big, ten shift lights that fill green, yellow and red and flash at your shift point, speed, a rev bar with the shift point marked, boost, fuel, power, and the four tires coloured by temperature

Race: position, lap, laps done, the current, last and best lap, race time, and the delta to your best lap, worked out by the widget as you drive

Tires: a car drawn from above with each tire's temperature, grip and spring travel

G-Force: the load as a dot inside rings at 1 g and 2 g, with a fading trail of the last 3 seconds and this session's peaks

Inputs: throttle and brake over the last 10 seconds, with clutch, handbrake and steering

Track: the road you drove this session, drawn from your position, with the car on it. No map: only where you have been. Tap to clear it.

Session: top speed, peak G, best lap, distance driven, and your car's class, PI, drivetrain and engine

On the Edge

Choose any size in iCUE, across or upright. Small sizes leave out the least needed panels instead of shrinking the type.

Show every page with touch tabs, or one page per widget, and place several.

With tabs, the widget turns to Race when a race starts and back when it ends; a tab you tap stays put. A setting turns this off.

Units follow your choice in Redline Link or Redline Deck, or pick speed, tire temperature, boost and power units here. Set your shift point (85 to 98% of the rev limit) and your own text, accent and background colours.

When you pause or sit in a menu, it says so and keeps your session's figures; when nothing is writing the file, it says what to start.

What you need

Redline Link, a small Windows program from teatimeservers.ca (https://teatimeservers.ca/plugins/redline-deck#redline-link), or Redline Deck for Stream Deck, from the Elgato Marketplace. Either one receives the game's Data Out telemetry and writes it to one file on your PC; the widget reads that file. With Redline Link running, the widget can also take its live stream on your PC for the smoothest updates.

Forza Horizon 6 with Data Out on: Settings, HUD and Gameplay, Data Out On, IP address 127.0.0.1, port 5605 (or the port you set in Redline Link or Redline Deck).

iCUE 5.51 or later and a CORSAIR XENEON EDGE, on Windows.

Start Redline Link or Redline Deck once before you place the widget: it makes the folder the widget reads. If you placed the widget first, remove it and add it again, or restart iCUE.

What it does and does not do

It reads one folder that Redline Link or Redline Deck writes to, and Redline Link's stream on this PC. It sends nothing, stores nothing and changes nothing in the game.

Nothing you drive leaves your PC.

Everything is drawn in code: panels, bars, lights, the car outline and the traces. No game art, logo or font is used.

Unofficial: Redline Dashboard is not affiliated with or endorsed by Playground Games, Microsoft or Xbox Game Studios. Forza Horizon is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

Redline Dashboard 1.0.0

First release.

Dash: the gear, shift lights that flash at your shift point, speed, revs, boost, fuel, power and the four tires coloured by temperature.

Pages: Race (with the delta to your best lap), Tires and suspension, G-Force, Inputs, Track and Session, each laid out for every XENEON EDGE size, across and upright.

Touch tabs, or one page per widget; turns to Race when a race starts.

Your units, shift point and colours.

Reads the file that Redline Link (no Stream Deck needed) or Redline Deck for Stream Deck writes, through iCUE 5.51's file access, and Redline Link's live stream on this PC.
