Overview
Tailscale Control
Your tailnet, on your Stream Deck. Connect and disconnect Tailscale, route through an exit node, and copy any device's address to the clipboard, without opening the Tailscale window.
Live keys
Tailscale: connected or disconnected, this computer's name on the tailnet, the tailnet itself, and the exit node in use. On a Stream Deck + it works as a dial.
Devices: how many of your devices are online. Press it for a page with a key for every one.
Device: one device, with its name, operating system, online light and address.
Exit node: the exit node your traffic goes through, or direct.
Every device, one press away
Press the Devices key for a generated page: this computer first, then whatever is online, then the rest, with Back and paging when the tailnet outgrows the deck. Press a device and its address lands on the clipboard, ready to paste into a terminal, a browser or a config file. Choose what a press copies: the Tailscale IP, the full MagicDNS name, the IPv6 address, or just the name.
Exit nodes without the menus
Press the Exit node key for a page of every exit node your tailnet offers, each showing whether it is online and which one is in use. Press one to route through it, and press Direct to go back to normal. Or pin a key to one node and use it as a switch: on, off, on.
Nothing happens by accident
Connecting and disconnecting need a 2-second hold, so a stray press cannot drop your network.
A short press only tells you what a hold would do.
Copying and switching exit nodes are a plain press, because both are easy to undo.
Problems are reported on the key: Needs admin, Client not running, Not logged in, that node is offline.
Private by design
It steers the Tailscale client already running on your computer, through its own command.
No API key, no account, no login. The plugin opens no network connection of its own; its tests fail if any network code appears in it.
Nothing leaves your computer, and the plugin's log records counts and states, never a device name, a tailnet or an address.
Works on every Stream Deck
Page layouts are included for Stream Deck, Mini, XL, Stream Deck +, Neo and Stream Deck Mobile, installed as read-only profiles the first time you use them.
Requirements
The Tailscale client for Windows, signed in to a tailnet
Windows 10 or 11, with Stream Deck 7.1 or later
Connecting, disconnecting and switching exit nodes work as your usual account. If a locked-down setup refuses, the key says so, and running Stream Deck as an administrator settles it.
Unofficial plugin. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Tailscale Inc.
Fixed font and visibility issue.
