Cat Companion
by VROTEK OÜ
Overview
Your cats. Your problem.
A cat simulator and virtual cat companion for your Stream Deck. A bit like a Tamagotchi, with whiskers, personal opinions and no intention of becoming more useful.
Press for attention, or hold for 0.7 seconds and release to give a treat. Choose from six coats and four temperaments, name your cat and adjust its sleep schedule. Each cat develops its own habits and reactions, from daytime naps and very serious biscuit making to evening demands and night-time zoomies. Too much attention can bring warnings, play fighting, overstimulation and a lingering bad mood.
Sometimes a mug or tiny plant finds itself suspiciously close to an edge. Your cat nudges it, watches you and pauses for some entirely innocent paw washing. Stop it early and it sulks. Catch the falling object and it looks disappointed. Let it fall and somebody has had a lovely afternoon.
Get more cats to keep each other company and demand a little less attention from you. They can play, groom each other, rest together, squabble and get jealous over treats, because sharing your desk does not mean sharing your affection.
Add optional Food bowl and Litter box keys for individual cats or shared care. Each shared bowl has room for four cats and shows everyone eating. Choose each cat’s appetite, click to refill the bowl, and hold the litter box for three seconds before releasing to clean. Care pauses when the linked keys are no longer visible together.
Allow outdoor trips through a cat flap, or have your cat scratch at the door until you let it out or back in. While away, it leaves a tiny paw print on its key and pauses its indoor demands. Apparently, it has other appointments.
Everything stays on your device. No account or external service is required.
Requires Stream Deck 6.9+, macOS 13+ or Windows 11 (64-bit).

Fixed installation on Windows 11. Stream Deck refused the plugin with a message asking to update the operating system, because Windows 11 reports itself as version 10 and the plugin required version 11. The plugin now requires Windows 10 or later, the same as Elgato's own plugins.
