Setup (required for some keys)

THE CHEATS TILES DO NOTHING IN IRONMAN. Hearts of Iron IV disables the console entirely in Ironman saves. This is a game rule, not a fault in the profile — the other 85 keys work normally in Ironman.

The console key depends on your keyboard layout. The tiles send the backtick/grave key, which is correct on QWERTY. On other layouts the game may use Shift+2, §, ², ^, “ or º — rebind the consoleKey on the fourteen Cheats tiles if yours differs.

Each Cheats tile opens the console, types its command and closes the console again. If a command appears not to fire, check that the console key above is right for your layout.

Hearts of Iron IV lets you rebind everything; this profile assumes the default layout. Paradox publishes the authoritative lists at hoi4.paradoxwikis.com/Hotkeys and hoi4.paradoxwikis.com/Console_commands.

Arrow-key camera panning and the modifier-only binds (Ctrl for Divisions Assignment, Alt for Edit Mode, Shift for Waypoint) are deliberately absent — a key that only holds a modifier cannot work from a Stream Deck.

Speed + and Speed - send the numeric keypad’s + and - keys. That is the game’s own default: Hearts of Iron IV binds its two top-bar speed buttons to KP_PLUS and KP_MINUS, and it binds nothing on the main number row, so a keyboard with no numpad has no speed hotkey in vanilla either. On such a keyboard, use the top bar’s on-screen speed buttons, or give the game a main-row shortcut yourself by editing interface/topbar.gui, and then rebind these two tiles to match.
