Mic Volume Lock for Windows

Lock your microphone and speaker volume on Windows. Apps like Zoom or Discord, games and drivers can change your mic level (mic gain); Mic Volume Lock puts it back, usually within a second, and the key shows how many times. Press to lock, hold to lock at the level you have now. Each input of a device can be locked on its own. If automatic gain control (AGC) or an app's auto adjust moves your mic slider, the lock sets it back.

No endless fight

If a program keeps changing the level (7 times in 10 seconds), the lock pauses and the key says PAUSED instead of fighting it. Turn off auto mic adjustment in that program.

Good to know

When Stream Deck closes, the locks stop and the levels stay where they are.

Switch a lock off before you delete its key.
