Put RawTherapee on your Stream Deck: 104 commands across 10 categories, eight Stream Deck + dials for zoom, image, history and rotation, and two keys that read what RawTherapee actually has loaded.

EIGHT DIALS, AND EACH ONE SAYS EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES

- Zoom: turns the scroll wheel over the preview, so RawTherapee zooms at your pointer. Fast spins fold into a single send. Press to zoom to fit.

- Image: step to the next or previous image. Press to jump to the Editor.

- History: undo and redo on one dial. Press to zoom to fit.

- Rotate: rotate the image left and right. Press to zoom to fit.

- Thumb Size, Browser: resize File Browser thumbnails. Press to open the File Browser.

- Thumb Size, Filmstrip: resize filmstrip thumbnails. Press to toggle the filmstrip.

- Tool Tab: step through Exposure, Detail, Color, Advanced, Transform, Raw and Metadata. Press to go to Exposure.

- Preview Mode: step through the red, green, blue, luminosity and focus mask views. Press sends red, which clears the preview if red is already showing.

The last two cycle open loop. RawTherapee offers no way to read back which tool tab or preview mode is active, so those two faces name the step they just sent and never claim a current state. Every dial press is idempotent, and nothing in the dial layer writes to your files.

TWO KEYS THAT READ THE APP

- Current Image: shows the file RawTherapee has open, and says so plainly when nothing is loaded. Press to refresh. Sends no keystroke.

- Tone Readout: shows Compensation, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Black and Shadow Compression, read from the processing profile sitting on disk beside your raw. It is labelled "as loaded" because that is exactly what it is. The .pp3 file lags the sliders until RawTherapee writes it, so the key says "as loaded" and never "current". It re-reads on press and never forces a save, so it cannot touch your edit history.

EVERY COMMAND A KEY

10 category actions cover 104 RawTherapee commands: Main Tabs and Image Navigation, Tool Tabs, Zoom and View, Preview Modes, Panels and Layout, Editor Tools, Profile and Edit, Browser and Filmstrip, Rate and Label, and Filters. Drop a category action on a key, pick the command from a dropdown, and the key art follows automatically. Every command has its own drawn icon.

Remapped RawTherapee, or running a build with different bindings? Every key has a Capture field in the property inspector: press your combination once and that key sends exactly that from then on.

TWO PROFILES IN THE BOX

- 15-key Stream Deck: a category hub plus one page per category, every command pre-placed, each page with a Home key back to the hub. The Filters page carries 14 of the 16 filter commands because 14 is what fits beside Home; the other two are one dropdown pick away on any spare key.

- Stream Deck +: a page with Zoom, Image, History and Rotate pre-placed on the four dials, plus starter keys. The other four dials are in the action list, ready to drop onto any encoder.

Both install the first time you place a key. The 15-key profile targets the standard 15-key Stream Deck; XL and Mini owners can still use every action on their own layouts.

EASY LINK IS BUILT IN

Point Easy Link at rawtherapee.exe once and your deck switches to the RawTherapee profile whenever RawTherapee comes to the front, then hands the deck back when you leave it.

SOUNDS, IF YOU WANT THEM

Any key can play a sound when pressed. 33 sounds ship in the box, and recordings made with our free Sound Sampler plugin show up in the Key Sound picker automatically.
