Segment Seven

Realistic cassette deck media player for the XENEON EDGE: seven-segment clock, level meters, transport keys, volume knob and a recently played list. Needs the free NocturneBridge companion app.

Segment Seven turns your XENEON EDGE into a real cassette deck. A brushed metal front panel, a tape you can see turning, a seven-segment display, level meters that follow the actual audio, and transport keys that feel like hardware.

It controls the player you already use: Spotify, AIMP, VLC, foobar2000, and other players that report to Windows. Tap a key, turn the volume knob, pick a track from the playlist or wind through a song by holding Next or Prev.

Highlights

- Four level meters: bars, LED, needles, spectrum

Playlist for AIMP, VLC and foobar2000 with tap-to-play, shuffle and repeat

Eject: hold to open the door, tap to change the tape

Cassette label by hand, or the album cover itself

Black, aluminium or gold finish, optional walnut side panels

Four display colours

Built-in mixer: volume and mute per program, output device switch

Idle clock and automatic night dimming
