Broadlink Connect
by Qaem
Overview
Broadlink Connect — Your Broadlink Remotes on the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE
Your TV, air conditioner and fan remotes, on your XENEON EDGE. Broadlink Connect learns the buttons of the remotes you already have through a Broadlink device, lays them out as a remote pad, chains them into macros and switches your Broadlink smart plugs. Everything stays on your own network. No Stream Deck required.
Key Features:
Your Remotes, Learned
Learn Any Button: Press Learn, point your remote at the Broadlink and press the button. Infrared for TVs, air conditioners, fans, soundbars and projectors, and 433 MHz radio on the RM pro models for blinds, fans and doorbells.
Try Before You Save: Send the learned code once to check it, then name it.
Your Layout: Pick the buttons for each copy and their order, leave gaps where you want them, and set the columns. Rounded, round or pill keys.
Names, Icons and Colours: Give each button a name, one of more than 30 icons (or let it guess from the name) and its own colour.
Rooms: Group buttons by room and give each copy one room: the living room's TV on one tile, the bedroom's air conditioner on another.
Macros
Several Buttons in a Row: "Movie night" turns the TV on, switches to HDMI and turns the lamp off, with the waits you choose between steps.
Plugs and Sensors
Smart Plugs: Switch Broadlink SP plugs on and off, with live power use on the models that measure it. The MP1 strip's four sockets each get their own switch.
Temperature and Humidity: From an RM4 with its sensor cable, an RM pro or an e-Sensor, which also shows air quality, light and noise.
One Widget, Several Jobs
Four Layouts: Remote (a pad of buttons), Devices (plugs, sensors and remotes as cards), Big button (one button, macro or plug, as large as the tile) and Sensor. Each fits any tile size, landscape or portrait.
Make It Yours: Density, key shape, icons, names, states, text size and colours, in iCUE's widget settings or in the widget.
Private and Local
No Account, No Cloud: Broadlink Connect finds your Broadlink devices on your network and talks to them directly. Nothing goes through Broadlink's or QaemDev's servers.
Your Codes Stay on Your PC: Learned codes are kept by Qaem Hub on this PC and never leave it.
Requires Qaem Hub (Free Companion App)
Qaem Hub: Broadlink Connect needs Qaem Hub, QaemDev's free companion app for Windows: qaemdev.com/products/qaem-hub. Its Broadlink module finds your devices and asks you once to allow the widget.
Just This Module: Rather not install Qaem Hub? Get the Broadlink Module, a small app with only this module inside: qaemdev.com/downloads/broadlink-module-setup.exe. Qaem Hub takes it over, settings kept, if you install it later.
Looks After Itself: Qaem Hub runs quietly in the tray, starts with Windows and keeps itself up to date.
Requirements
CORSAIR iCUE 5.45 or newer with a XENEON EDGE, on Windows.
A Broadlink RM mini, RM4 or RM pro (for remotes) or a Broadlink SP plug, set up on your Wi-Fi with the Broadlink app, on the same network as your PC.
Notes
If the Broadlink app has the device locked, turn Lock device off in its settings; Broadlink Connect says when that's needed.
On iCUE 5.51 and newer, allow the widget to reach 127.0.0.1 in iCUE Settings, Widget Access, if iCUE asks.
Broadlink Connect is not affiliated with or endorsed by Broadlink (Hangzhou BroadLink Technology Co., Ltd.).
SETUP TAKES TWO MINUTES
Install Qaem Hub, add its Broadlink module, import the widget in iCUE and learn your first button.
