Monitoring
Dust Alarm
by Raylight
Overview
Dust builds up slowly, and your PC gets hotter so gradually that you never notice. Dust Alarm notices. It records your CPU and GPU temperatures at the same load every day and compares recent days with how your PC ran after it was last cleaned.
If your parts run hotter under the same load, it warns you, first "Creeping up" and then "Time to clean". If your idle temperatures rose by about as much, it tells you it's probably a warm room rather than dust. After you clean, tap "I cleaned it" and it starts a fresh baseline.
Features
Compares like with like: temperatures at the same load
Two levels: creeping up (+5 °C) and time to clean (+8 °C)
Tells dust from a warm room
A daily temperature chart for the GPU and CPU
A one-tap reset after cleaning
Live temperatures while it learns
Requires Windows, iCUE 5.47 or later and a CORSAIR XENEON EDGE. It needs about a week of normal use before it can judge; until then it shows live temperatures and says it is learning. Uses the CPU and GPU temperature and load sensors iCUE can read on your PC.
