Pocket Display for Sidecar

Pocket Display for Sidecar brings your iPad up as a second Mac screen through Sidecar, extended or mirrored, with one press of a Stream Deck key, and down with another. The key shows whether the iPad is connected. On Stream Deck + and Galleon 100 SD, a dial picks the mode. For macOS.

iPad Display

Press the lit key again to disconnect; a key set to the other mode switches without reconnecting

Lit while the iPad is up in its mode, amber while connecting, grey when no iPad is in reach

iPad Dial

Turn left for Extend, right for Mirror. Push or tap to connect, switch or disconnect

The touch strip shows the iPad's name, its connection and the dial's mode

Good to know

Works with any Mac language and any iPad name

macOS has no official way for apps to start Sidecar, so a macOS update may stop the plugin working until it is updated

Both actions are also in Pocket Audio & Display, with sound devices, screen resolution and a blank dial

Every Stream Deck, Stream Deck Mobile and Corsair Galleon 100 SD; dials on Stream Deck +, + XL and Galleon

Requirements

macOS 13 or later and Stream Deck 7.1 or later (7.2 for Galleon). An iPad that supports Sidecar, signed in to the same Apple Account as the Mac.

The plugin talks only to macOS on your Mac and sends nothing anywhere. Not affiliated with Apple.
