Overview

Pomodoro Timer is an iCUE display widget designed for Corsair keyboards and dial-enabled devices. It provides an on-screen visual productivity timer that tracks structured work and rest intervals with customizable color themes and direct hardware dial controls.

iCUE Mode Required: These iCUE widgets are only available when the keyboard is running in iCUE mode with iCUE open. Widgets can not be saved to or used in Device Memory Mode (hardware mode).

iCUE Version Requirement for Widget Availability: iCUE version 5.47 or later is required to use the widgets. We recommend always updating to the latest version of iCUE for the best experience.

Wired Connection Required: To use iCUE widgets, connect the keyboard to your PC with a USB cable and use the keyboard in wired mode.

Enable Screen Widgets for Dial Control for Vanguard 96 series: In iCUE, go to the Rotary Dial tab, enable Screen Widget, and select it as the dial function. Once enabled, you can use the rotary dial to switch between widgets and interact with supported widget functions.

Switching Between Widgets

You can switch between widgets using the following controls:

Vanguard 96 / Vanguard 96 Wireless / Vanguard PRO 96: Press FN + Left/Right Arrow, or turn the dial.

Vanguard AIR 99 WL: Press FN + Left/Right Arrow.

How It Works

The widget runs a traditional 4-session Pomodoro technique, alternating between work periods and rests. A top progress bar tracks real-time progress through the active phase, while a 4-dot tracker displays completed sessions.

At the end of the 4-session, the widget automatically triggers an extended long rest (dynamically scaled to 15, 20, or 30 minutes corresponding to original rest length of 5, 10, 15 minutes). For example, if your original rest length is 5 mins, your long rest will be 15 mins.

Customization & Controls

Work Lengths: Selectable work intervals of 15, 25, 45, 50, or 90 minutes.

Rest Lengths: Selectable rest intervals of 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

Color Customization: Independent color pickers for work phase, rest phase, and display background.

Dial Actions: Single-press the dial to pause or resume; press and hold to reset all sessions.

*For Vanguard AIR 99 WL, dial actions are not supported, so users can use FN + Enter to pause or resume playback.

Contextual Prompts: On-screen dynamic subtext displays phase duration during countdowns or status hints when paused.
