Glass for Apple Music

Control Apple Music from your Stream Deck on macOS, with experimental support for Windows. Keys show the real playback state, and the icons are rendered as glass over the blurred artwork of the album that's playing, spread across your whole deck.

Keys

Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Shuffle and Repeat

Now Playing: album artwork with live progress

Volume: up, down, mute or set a level. Hold to keep adjusting. Controls Apple Music, not your system volume

Favorite: favorite the current song

Play Playlist: start a playlist from your library

Add to Playlist: add the current song to a playlist, or remove it (macOS)

Sleep Timer: pause playback after 5 minutes to 2 hours

Dials (Stream Deck +)

Multimedia: turn for volume or tracks, push to play/pause, push and turn to seek

Browse Playlists: turn to browse your playlists, push to play

Infobar (Stream Deck Neo)

Artwork, title and progress of the current song

Available in English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Requirements Stream Deck 7.6 or later. macOS 14 or later with the Music app. On macOS, allow Stream Deck to control Music when asked.

Windows 10/11 with Apple Music from the Microsoft Store is supported experimentally. Some features may not work as expected yet.

Good to know

macOS 14 or later is fully supported. Allow Stream Deck to control Music when macOS asks.

Windows support is experimental. Playback, volume and Now Playing should work; Favorite and the playlist actions may not work yet.

Volume controls Apple Music, not your system volume.
