Next Event Calendar

Your next meeting on a Stream Deck key: the time, a live countdown and the title from Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud. The key turns amber a few minutes before it starts and red when it starts, and one press joins the Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or Webex call. Paste your iCal (.ics) link once, no sign-in. A Timeline key shows the next hours of your day as colored blocks, one color per calendar. Made for Windows, in English and Japanese.

Features

Next Event: time, countdown ("in 12m", "40m left") and title of your next event. Press to join its meeting when it starts within 10 minutes, or to see the events after it

Join Meeting: always the next event that has a meeting link. One press opens it in your browser

Timeline: the next 4, 8 or 12 hours as a band, one block per event in its calendar's color. Press to step through the events with their times

Up to 3 calendars (work, personal, team), merged into one list. The same event in two calendars is shown once

Amber 5, 10 or 15 minutes before an event (your choice), red when it starts, green with a progress bar while it runs

A camera mark on events that have a meeting link: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, GoTo Meeting, Whereby, Jitsi, Amazon Chime, Slack huddles and more

Repeating events, moved and cancelled dates, all-day events (shown when you choose) and time zones are handled: a moved meeting shows at its new time and a cancelled date is left out

How to find your calendar link

Google Calendar (on a computer): Settings, pick your calendar under "Settings for my calendars", then "Integrate calendar". Copy "Secret address in iCal format"

Outlook on the web or Outlook.com: Settings, Calendar, Shared calendars, "Publish a calendar". Choose the calendar and "Can view all details", press Publish and copy the ICS link

iCloud: in Calendar, share the calendar and turn on "Public Calendar", then copy the link Paste it into any key's settings. It is saved for every key.

FAQ How do I show my next Google Calendar or Outlook meeting on Stream Deck? Add the Next Event key and paste your calendar's iCal link in its settings. The key shows the time, a countdown and the title right away.

Can I join a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call with one button? Yes. Next Event joins when the meeting starts within 10 minutes. Join Meeting opens the next meeting link at any time.

Do I need to sign in to Google or Microsoft? No. The plugin reads the calendar link you paste, the same way a calendar app subscribes to it.

Privacy Your calendar link stays in the Stream Deck app's settings on your PC and is sent only to the calendar's own site. Events are read on your PC and sent nowhere else. The settings page and the log show only the site's name (like calendar.google.com), never the link itself.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11, Stream Deck 6.9 or later

A calendar link in iCal (.ics) format: Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud or any calendar that offers one

Limitations

Reads calendars only: events cannot be created or changed from a key

Events from yesterday to 31 days ahead are read

A change in your calendar shows up when the calendar site updates its link, which can take from minutes to hours

Some work and school accounts turn off calendar links. Ask your administrator if the option is missing

Anyone who has a calendar link can see that calendar: keep it to yourself, and reset it in your calendar's settings if it was shared by mistake

iCloud has no private link, only a public one

Only links to known meeting sites are opened from a key

Calendar files over 20 MB are not read
