xTool Laser Deck

xTool Laser Deck puts xTool Studio's tools on the touch strip of your Stream Deck + and Stream Deck + XL: tap Line, Rectangle, Align left or Union on the strip. 70 commands for xTool Studio 1.9.11 on Windows and macOS, six dials and a number pad for laser cutting and engraving layouts, with a ready-made profile for six Stream Deck models. Hold the Easy Link key once and the deck follows xTool Studio.

FIRST RUN

When Stream Deck offers to install the xTool Laser Deck profile, click Install. Keep xTool Studio in front when you press a key: keystrokes go to the active window and the plugin never steals focus.

On a Mac, enable Elgato Stream Deck in Privacy & Security > Accessibility, restart the Stream Deck app, and allow System Events when asked (or later under Automation).

Coming from 1.0.0.0? Stream Deck never replaces a profile it already installed: delete each xTool Laser Deck profile, then hold Easy Link with xTool Studio in front and accept the new one.

THE TOOLBAR ON THE TOUCH STRIP

Eight strips carry the tools of xTool Studio's drawing rail and arrange bar, in the app's order:

- Draw: Line, Rectangle, Circle, Vector

- Create: Import, Text, Trim, Select

- Order: Bring to front, Send backward, Bring forward, Send to back

- Align H: Align left, Center, Align right, Distribute horizontally

- Align V: Align top, Center, Align bottom, Distribute vertically

- Combine: Union, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude

- Flip: Reflect horizontally, Reflect vertically

- Group: Group, Ungroup

Tap a tool's region of the strip to use it, or turn the knob to arm a tool (nothing is sent) and press.

SIX DIALS

- Zoom: turn to zoom the canvas, press to fit.

- Pan X and Pan Y: turn to pan across or up and down, press to fit.

- History: turn through undo and redo, press to save.

- Nudge X and Nudge Y: turn to move the selection, press to switch between the fine and coarse step.

Zoom and both pans use the mouse wheel, so the pointer must sit over the xTool Studio window; anywhere else the dial refuses rather than scroll another app. They follow the app's default wheel setting, Move Canvas; on Zoom Canvas, Zoom and Pan Y swap. Every dial paints its own strip art with tap zones.

NUMBER PAD

The Stream Deck XL and Stream Deck + XL hubs carry a 20-key number pad, and the Stream Deck a compact pad page, for sizes, positions, rotation, power and speed. Click a field in xTool Studio, type, press Enter, then click the canvas: a focused field ignores the app's other shortcuts.

70 COMMANDS, 3D KEY ART

The 8 categories match the app: Insert & Tools, Edit & Clipboard, Arrange & Object, Alignment & Distribution, File, Canvas & Zoom, Nudge and Combine. Drop a category action on a key and pick the command by its key face; the key wears that command's 3D voxel art. Every shortcut was read from xTool Studio 1.9.11's own keymap.

Lock / Unlock, Show / Hide and Auto-Snap are blind toggles: the app does not expose their state. The xTool Status key shows only whether xTool Studio is running and focused.

READY-MADE LAYOUTS FOR SIX DECKS

- Stream Deck: a hub of the 8 categories, a page for each and a number pad page.

- Stream Deck XL and Stream Deck + XL: a hub with category keys and the number pad; the Stream Deck + XL hub adds six toolbar strips, with the six dials on its category pages.

- Stream Deck +: the toolbar strips and all six dials across its pages.

- Stream Deck Mini and Stream Deck Neo: starter keys.

Easy Link sits top-left on every profile. Hold it while xTool Studio is in front: the profile comes up whenever the app takes focus and your previous one returns when you leave.

YOUR SHORTCUTS, YOUR SOUNDS

Any command key can send a custom hotkey instead: type a combination, or click Capture key and press it. Command keys work in Multi Actions. 33 sounds ship in the box, and recordings from our free Sound Sampler plugin appear in the Key Sound picker.

Now on macOS as well as Windows, updated for xTool Studio 1.9.11, with a touch-strip toolbar, new key art, a number pad and six profiles.

The keys follow xTool Studio 1.9.11: four rebound shortcuts (New file, Bring to front, Send to back, Align top) send their new keys, four removed ones (Perfect circle, Square, Ortho line, Export as SVG) are gone, and sixteen are new, among them Duplicate, Hand, Trim, Warp, Invert and a Combine category. 70 commands in 8 categories.
