Horizon Racing Dash
by SquierStream
Overview
Horizon Racing Dash turns Stream Deck + and Stream Deck + XL into a live racing dashboard for Forza Horizon. Shift lights run across the whole touch strip as one continuous bar, with gear, lap times, pedal inputs and tyre temperatures on the dials and keys beside them.
Turn on Data Out in the game, point it at 127.0.0.1, and the dash comes alive as you drive.
WHAT YOU GET
Shift lights across every dial — one bar, not four or six. The plugin sizes it to your device on its own. It fills as the revs rise and flashes blue at the shift point. An optional redline strobe flashes the whole strip red, with the telemetry still readable on top.
Gear — a big numeral that flashes red at the limit. Hide the light strip and it fills the key.
Lap times — current, last, best, and the delta to your best.
Pedal trace — a scrolling graph of throttle, brake and clutch.
Tyres — a car diagram tinted by temperature, with a grip bar under each wheel showing how close it is to sliding.
Readouts — speed, rpm, race position, fuel, power, boost and a resettable trip.
Race progress — the lap number on circuits. On point-to-point routes there is no length in the telemetry, so the first run measures it and every run after that shows a real percentage.
Units are set per key: km/h or mph, °C or °F. The shift point can learn how your car actually revs, or stay a fixed percentage of the rev limit.
Unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of the game.
First release.
Horizon Racing Dash puts live Forza Horizon telemetry on Stream Deck + and Stream Deck + XL.
DIALS
Six panels: gear with a scrolling throttle/brake/clutch trace, current lap and delta, last/best lap and position, tyre temperatures with per-wheel slip, large speed, and an empty panel that shows only the lights.
The shift lights run across the whole touch strip as one continuous bar, sized to your device automatically — four dials or six.
Optional redline strobe: the strip flashes red at the shift point while the readings stay legible on top.
KEYS
RPM Lights — spread the bar across 2 to 16 keys.
Gear, large, flashing red at the limit.
Tyre temperatures with slip bars, G-force, and 12 readouts including a resettable trip meter.
SETTINGS
The shift point can learn how your car actually revs, or stay a fixed % of the rev limit.
Speed/distance and temperature are separate settings, per key.
Fuel gauge, slip bars and the gear key's light strip can each be switched off.
GOOD TO KNOW
Turn on Data Out in the game and point it at 127.0.0.1.
Lap numbers match the game; outside a race the lap reads as a dash.
Point-to-point routes carry no length in the telemetry, so the first run measures the route and later runs show a real percentage.
Tyre wear and tyre pressure are not shown: Forza Horizon's packet does not contain them.
