Overview
Control Claude Desktop and Claude Code from your Stream Deck. 97 keys. No mouse.
Trip2Claude turns a 15-key Stream Deck into a control surface for Claude on Windows: chat, voice, prompt macros, and full Claude Code coverage.
FOUR PAGES, ONE BUTTON TO SWITCH
The bottom-right key is a page switcher in the same position on every page, labelled with where it goes. One thumb, four pages.
Page 1 — Main. Accept, reject, voice, new chat, stop. Send, copy, retry, attach, focus. Plus three macro folders and a guarded clear.
Page 2 — Claude Code. Yes/No for permission prompts, Shift+Tab mode cycling, interrupt, todos, transcript, brief, history search, artifacts, stash, background.
Page 3 — Slash Commands. /compact, /context, /model, /resume, /diff, /agents, /skills, /mcp, /permissions, /hooks, /usage, /memory, /status, /clear — typed into the input, never auto-submitted.
Page 4 — View & Edit. Back, forward, reload, find, zoom in/out/reset, undo, redo, Settings, select all.
Three folders. CODE — 12 developer macros (plan, review, fix, debug, refactor, tests, security, commit, docs and more). PROMPTS — 12 general macros plus two of your own. ACTIONS — focus, launch, screen clip, Downloads, your project folder.
EVERY SHORTCUT WAS VERIFIED, NOT GUESSED
Every keybinding was extracted from Claude Desktop and the Claude Code CLI themselves — their own menu definitions and default keybinding tables — not written from memory and hoped for.
The included key map rates every key Verified, Convention, or Substitute, so you always know how much to trust it.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT CLAUDE CAN'T DO
Claude Desktop has no keyboard shortcut for approve, decline, attach, or regenerate. Rather than ship four dead keys, Trip2Claude does the nearest genuinely useful thing and says so plainly:
- Accept / Reject drive the focused dialog via Enter and Escape. (Claude Code has real yes/no bindings — page 2 uses those.)
- Attach pastes a copied image or file into the composer, which really does attach it.
- Retry types an explicit regeneration request.
No fake features, no keys that look live and do nothing. Empty positions are left empty on purpose.
BUILT-IN SAFETY
- No macro auto-submits. Text lands in the composer and waits for you. A half-formed prompt can't escape.
- CLEAR is two-stage. First press arms it (the key turns red and reads CONFIRM), second press runs it — and it only clears the composer, never your conversation.
- Keys that type into Claude focus Claude first, so a macro can never land in your code editor by accident.
FULLY CUSTOMISABLE
Every prompt macro, shortcut, colour and custom action lives in one readable JSON file. Change it, run the one-command build, re-import. Shortcuts are defined in exactly one place, so if Anthropic moves one, you edit a single line.
Complete source included: icon generator, profile generator, packager, and a 60-check structural validator.
REQUIREMENTS
- Windows 11
- Stream Deck 7.x, 15-key (MK.2, Classic or Stream Deck Mobile — all included)
- Claude Desktop for Windows
- No plugins, no dependencies, no downloads.
The keys that focus or launch Claude use a small included helper — Windows won't let a background app raise another window on its own. A one-click installer handles it; every other key works from the profile alone.
INCLUDED
Profiles for all three 15-key decks · 103 custom icons · full source · installer and uninstaller · README, key map, customisation and troubleshooting guides, and a QA matrix stating what has been tested and what hasn't.
LICENCE — Single purchaser, unlimited installs on your own machines, personal and commercial use. Customise freely; no redistribution or resale.
